When Brandon Sandford was released from prison in April of 2010 he was looking for an outlet for the aggression that had left him incarcerated at only 17 years old. He quickly discovered that mixed martial arts was the medicine he needed and after only three months of training he competed in his first fight. He won by an arm bar submission in 55 seconds.

Sandford, now 26, has fought 15 bouts, winning 11 of them, and has received high praise from his trainer and the amateur MMA community in Michigan. It's a talent that Sandford is grateful to show off after surviving the fight of his life in prison.
